Children's Halloween Extravaganza at Colby
Colby College will hold its second annual Children's Halloween Extravaganza on Sunday, October 31, from 3 to 6 p.m. The event is free of charge and open to all community children age two to 10 years old. Activities, which begin at the Pugh Center, Cotter Union, will include trick-or-treating, haunted houses, pumpkin decorating, face painting and more. Holiday refreshments will be served.
The event is organized by the Colby Volunteer Center and Student Government Association as a fun and safe alternative to trick-or-treating on the streets. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The Halloween activities will be held in the Pugh Center and designated spots in the residence halls.
Participants should start at the Pugh Center, Cotter Union. There they will be given a campus Halloween map which will direct them to all activities. For more information contact Annie Eisinger at 859.6676 or Stephanie Mendell at 859.6772.
