
Colby Symphony Orchestra to Perform "Winter Classics"
On Sunday, December 5, the Colby Symphony Orchestra will perform "An Evening of Winter Classics" at 8 p.m. in Lorimer Chapel. Directed by Jonathan Hallstrom, the concert is part of the 1999-2000 Music at Colby series. The event is free of charge and open to the public.
The performance will include a collection of classic and not-so-classic works that celebrate the holiday season and winter. Vivaldis Winter from The Four Seasons, Tchaikovskys First Symphony and Irving Berlins White Christmas are among the pieces scheduled for the concert.
