  • Student Research

    Student Internship/Research Fund | Funding Goal $1 million

    Providing funding for research opportunities and internships is vitally important both to Colby's mission and to the success of our students.

  • Sustainability

    Faculty Position in Sustainability Science | Funding Goal $2.5 million

    Colby seeks to add a third professor in sustainability sciences to extend the program and enhance interactions between environmental studies and science programs.

  • Environmental Studies

    Environmental Studies Internship Fund | Funding Goal $500,000

    Internships in environmental studies give students who are passionate about the environment a leg up in securing their first job or getting into a graduate program.

  • Marine Science

    Marine Studies Programmatic Support | Funding Goal $1 million

    A strategic partnership with Bigelow Laboratory will offer collaborative research activities involving Colby's faculty, Bigelow senior research scientists, and Colby students.

    International perspectives enrich the learning experience for all students. To maintain Colby's leadership in internationalization, we must increase endowed funds to enroll talented international applicants eager to attend.

    Ensuring that Colby's student body reflects the diversity of America in the 21st century will require commitments to financial aid and to programmatic initiatives that will build a community that values difference.

    The Goldfarb Center for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement | Funding Goal $3 million

    To maintain the momentum and fulfill the promise of the Goldfarb Center, Colby must build endowments to fund programs previously underwritten by start-up grants.

    This critical position will enrich connections among a world class humanities division, one of the finest college museums in the world, and students across the curriculum.

    Visual Arts Museum Curator | Funding Goal $1.5 million

    With a world-class collection and incomparable facilities coming into place, the museum of art needs additional staff for maximum impact in the community and the art world.

    Science Building | $20 million
