Dr. Carl Safina, the first Andrew W. Mellon Distinguished Fellow in Environmental Studies at Colby, will discuss his observations during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.  He visited the area extensively during the disaster, collecting research for his book A Sea in Flames: The Deepwater Horizon Oil Blowout.
