This time-lapse video documents the construction of the Alfond-Lunder Family Pavilion, a 26,000-square-foot addition to the Colby College Museum of Art, from the groundbreaking on October 21, 2011, to the completed installation, in March 2013, of Wall Drawing #559 by Sol LeWitt, a major, site-specific work on loan from the Estate of Sol LeWitt, which is visible through the glass wall of the three-story façade. Photographs were taken every 48 hours, documenting the progress of the construction as well as Maine’s quickly changing weather patterns.
