On November 7, 2012, Steve Evans, Director of the National Poetry Foundation, coordinator of the New Writing Series, and Professor of poetry and poetics at the University of Maine, gave a Noontime Art Talk at the Colby College Museum of Art entitled "People of the World: Relax! Summering with Joe Brainard and Alex Katz."
