Scott Seider, Assistant Professor of Education at Boston University, discussed the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter, the only student-run homeless shelter in the United States, and the powerful interactions between Harvard students and the homeless that take place at the shelter. Seider recently published Shelter: Where Harvard Meets the Homeless, a book about the shelter, the proceeds of which will go to fund the operation of the shelter.

Seider spoke at 7PM in Diamond 122 on Tuesday, November 16.
