This Colby tradition continues to thrive. A musical prelude begins one half hour before the processional and includes the Colby Handbell Choir and other College instrumental groups. The service includes Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany readings and the singing of carols by the congregation. Student vocalists, instrumentalists, choral, and a cappella groups, as well as dancers, will take part in the services using both traditional and contemporary music from around the world. The singing of “Silent Night” and special instrumental music during the traditional lighting of candles throughout the congregation will be followed by a joyful recessional carol and postlude on the Nickerson Carillon.

This audio recording is from Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 3pm.
