Lee Professor of English Cedric Gael Bryant will lead a session on the literature of the Civil War at the sesquicentennial symposium "Local & Legendary: Maine in the Civil War," presented April 27 by the Maine Historical Society and the Maine Humanities Council. 

The symposium, commemorating 150 years since the Civil War, will be at the University of Southern Maine from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 27. For information and details on required registration see the Maine Humanities Council website.
