Pulver Family Assistant Professor of Jewish Studies David M. Freidenreich was selected as a summer scholar for the National Endowment for the Humanities summer institute, “Networks and Knowledge: 
Synthesis and Innovation in the Muslim-Christian-Jewish Medieval Mediterranean.” The institute will be held in Barcelona July 2-27.  Freidenreich plans to research the attitudes toward Christians and Muslims expressed in Jewish legal literature from Christian Spain.
