New Technologies in Sun's Solaris: DTrace and ZFS Sun Microsystems.
Speaker: Angelo Rajadura, Technology Office at Sun Microsystems.
This talk will introduce two new and unique features of
Solaris, Sun's popular open source operating system. ZFS (Zetabyte File System) is an innovative new file system aimed at removing many of the limitations common in
filesystems today. DTrace is a new dynamic tracing mechanism.
The speaker will demonstrate how to spot and resolve application and systemic problems. |
