Tonya Gonnella Frichner, United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues

The Pugh Center, Four Winds, the Goldfarb Center and WBBC have teamed up to bring an esteemed member of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues to Colby. Tonya Gonnella Frichner will discuss the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples which was adopted by General Assembly resolution 61/295 on September 13th, 2007, but was vetoed by the USA. What does the United States? veto mean for the human rights of Native American peoples in 2009?
