The O’Hanian-Szostak Fellows for Civic Leadership offers Colby students an opportunity for community leadership and professional development. Fellowships will be competitively awarded to highly-motivated students who are dedicated to public service and have an expressed interest in making an impact on the Colby and greater Waterville communities. Fellows develop community-based projects that align with the students’ academic interests, focus on meeting community needs and build meaningful relationships with local stakeholders and community members.
Students receive annual stipends of $2,000 per fellow. Additionally, students can apply for project grants up to $2,000 to implement their civic projects, including professional development, funding to attend workshops, conferences, or other opportunities.
