APPLY: O’Hanian-Szostak Fellows for Civic Leadership Appplications Open until January 6

The O’Hanian-Szostak Fellows for Civic Leadership offers Colby students an opportunity for community leadership and professional development. Fellowships will be competitively awarded to highly-motivated students who are dedicated to public service and have an expressed interest in making an impact on the Colby and greater Waterville communities. Fellows build student participation in civic engagement by developing community-based projects that align with the students’ academic interests, focus on meeting community needs and build meaningful relationships with local stakeholders and community members.
Students receive annual stipends of $2,000 per fellow. Additionally, students can apply for project grants up to $2,000 to implement their civic projects, including professional development, funding to attend workshops, conferences, or other opportunities.
