Maine College Climate Action Summit

This November, join college students from around the state to network, strategize, collaborate, and activate to address climate change. On November 9th, the Environmental Studies Program and Buck Lab for Climate and the Environment will host the Maine College Climate Action Summit with a keynote delivered by Reverend Lennox Yearwood, President of Hip Hop Caucus. Afternoon tabling and workshops will include climate activists and leaders from 350.org, Maine Climate Council, Maine Youth for Climate Justice, Maine Conservation Alliance, the Environmental Health Strategy Center, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, and more, will focus on climate policy, action, and student organizing with time devoted to sharing ideas, building action plans, and networking between institutions.
