The January Thaw has been a mid-winter tradition for more than a quarter century. This 4.5 mile road race offers runners unique challenges, including a course with rolling hills and the unpredictable weather of Maine winters.
Join us this year on January 12th for the 29th running of the January Thaw. The first 25 registrants receive running gloves, and there are prizes for overall and age-group winners. Ample refreshments are provided after the race, and proceeds benefit the Central Main Striders.
