This lab was really fun. My favorite part was manipulating drawShape to put in a leaf. If I had more time I would have added a bunch of different leaf shapes to make a crazy tree. Working with L-systems and working them into our strings was pretty cool especially with a resource like ABOP. Luckily since most of the setting up was done in the lab there was more time to experiment. When I modified the L-system in SceneB I flipped the tree on its side to see what would happen without turtleSetup. I also had to work with adjusting the screen and where the turtle started because it would often go off the page so I had to move the turtle to begin at (0, -200) without drawing a line. Manipulating the strings through L-systems produced a number of really interesting images. This showed the significance of computer science in assisting other branches of science like botany and biology. <
