The Department of Physical Plant (PPD) provides a wide range of facility management services, including building cleaning, maintenance and repair, grounds care, snow removal, utility/energy management, furniture repair, and moving services. PPD also coordinates a large number of capital projects, including new construction and major renovation of campus facilities. Service requests are normally generated through work orders, which may be submitted by telephone or electronically through PPD's Web page.
