Lisa Lessard began working at Colby in the '98-'99 school year as grader
for Astronomy 151 and Physics 142. The following year she continued
part-time at Colby, teaching introductory physics labs. In 2000-2001 Lisa started
working as a full-time Teaching Assistant for Physics and Astronomy.
Lisa received a Bachelor's degree in physics from Dartmouth College. She enjoys helping others understand physics and therefore made this the focus of her research. She is developing methods of teaching modern physics to high school students. Outside of work Lisa enjoys time spent with her husband, David, and engaging in outdoor activities. |
