6 - Colby Green: View from Mayflower Hill Drive

The approach to the campus core along Mayflower Hill Drive will be through a canopy of trees that

opens to Miller Lawn on the left and Colby Green on the right. The drive, with lawn shoulders and parallel

paths, sits on a terrace of its own before the land slopes down in an embankment to the Green. The path around the Green gives the space clarity and strength, while the slightly less formal arrangement of the buildings, compliments the regular geometry of Miller Lawn.
