Lab Grads 2008

Tim Miller

Tim Miller (Colby '08) is now at the Rocky Mountain Biological laboratory in Crested Butte, CO, where he is working as a lab assistant in plant ecology for the summer. Tim plans to take on various seasonal jobs as a research assistant for the next year.  and then to return to school in the fall of 2009 as a doctoral student in plant ecology or pollination biology. 

Charlottw Morse-Fortier

Charlotte Morse-Fortier (Colby '08) setting off on a bike ride across America with Bike and Build, an organization that raises funds for new affordable housing building projects. After that, Charlotte is off to France to spend a year or two as an English Language assistant

Talks

Thane Pittman gave a research colloquium talk to the faculty and students in the Psychology Department at the University of Maine on "At last, my talk on procrastination."

Thane also gave a presentation, co-authored with John Darley, at the Justice Preconference prior to the recent SPSP meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico, titled "In Search of Moral Luck"
