Colby-owned machines with the blue CCID# sticker are supported by the FSSC and ITS. If you have a Colby machine at home that develops problems, please call 859-4222 to identify the issue. If repairs are necessary, the machine will have to be brought to Colby. You may also enter a web ticket for assistance at www.colby.edu/helpdesk
|
 |
For
repairs on personal computers, those without the blue Colby
CCID#, please contact the manufacturer
or a local vendor. |
 |
PDAs: support is limited to Palm Pilot Vx Corporate Time
calendar synchronization. Users should seek support for all
other models and functions from the manufacturer or vendor.

 |
Either
call, submit a web request, OR send email. Doing more than one causes confusion which slows
response time for everyone. |
 |
Don't
leave multiple messages for the same problem unless you're providing
additional information. The time needed to listen to the messages
could be used solving the original problem.

 |
