Student will help the Colby Fund maintain social media sites and create new content in the form of video, blogs, messaging, links, and photos. Work will consist of tasks of updating and providing content for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.. Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities to drive brand messaging with key audiences. Researching trends and emerging platforms. Create comprehensive social media report at conclusion of internship capturing results, key findings and recommendations for continued growth. Attend local Colby Fund events on occasion.
Student must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a passion and interest in social media tools and techniques. Familiar with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, file-photo upload and downloads. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines efficiently and to specification, create working relationships with other members of the office team.
