The Communications Office is looking for a student worker to help perform marketing communication duties as related to student recruitment. The job will include a variety of different tasks including information gathering and writing for admissions recruiting materials, website updates, social media monitoring and posting, market research, and some photography/videography as needed. In addition to performing duties, a student will participate in strategic brainstorming sessions, give feedback and suggestions on recruiting material, and attend meetings. This is a great position for someone interested in marketing/communications.
The right candidate will be meticulous and detail-oriented, motivated, able to work independently, creative, professional, willing to go out and talk to various people on campus, and knowledgeable about Colby. A student who possesses strong writing skillsand is involved in campus activities is preferred. Must be willing to work a minimum of 8 hours per week.
