The Gender & Sexual Diversity Program - GSD Student Resource Officer will be highly motivated, energetic, organized, creative, and committed individual dedicated to supporting the mission of the GSD Program and the Pugh Center. The SRO will support the GSD Director and be an advocate for students. Collaborate with Director, attend meetings and Outpeers-OutAllies Training as well as Bystander-Upstander Intervention Training and update the GSD and Colby's Sexual Violence Prevention websites and other duties as assigned.
Commitment to leadership on issues of diversity, multiculturalism, and social justice. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in good disciplinary standing able to work 5-10 hours per week including evenings and weekends. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as proficient in web editing software. Team-oriented and able to take initiative on projects.
