Provides front line support for students, staff and faculty. The job involves troubleshooting classroom equipment, various hardware, software and networking problems. Update Deep Frozen computers. Assists with the installation of Colby licensed software,virus and spyware removal. Assist in the training of new students as well as any duties assigned by the ITS staff. Requires an upper-class member student who has demonstrated leadership, will have worked for the Support Center for at least 1 year and will have knowledge of all aspects of the Support Center. Good with details, problem solving and self supervising. This students needs to be familiar with the mission the Support Center and have the training skills necessary to help train entry-level students to become proficient. Must be able to troubleshoot wireless and wired network problems as well as being dependable, motivated, good customer service skills, working independently during stressful times and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
