|Department:   Libraries Customer Service and Admin.
Marketing Assistant performs administrative duties to support the marketing goals of the libraries. For example, they make photocopies, help assemble sales and marketing proposals, distribute marketing materials to employees and customers. Other duties include staffing registration tables at events, putting together shipments, formatting mailing lists, submitting internal web requests and forms and formatting newsletters. The main duties of the graphic design intern will be: Assist in designing advertising for library events and services. Research other libraries with successful branding or design systems. Attend weekly meetings with the designer and marketing team. Assist in brainstorming concepts for upcoming projects. Other duties as assigned.
Familiarity with using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop. Using software to complement interest in photography, graphic design and excellent proofreading skills.
