|Department:   Libraries Customer Service and Admin.
Job duties include training student assistants, assisting the library coordinator, tasks relating to personnel; scheduling, and entering student payroll. Assist with processing reserves and creation of workplace procedure documentation both web and or print. Daily tasks include checking and responding to Customer Service e-mail inquiries.
No first-year students. Dependable, reliable, knowledge of Reserve and Circulation Desk procedures and the ability to supervise peers. Previous employment as library student assistant is required. Must have knowledge of job-related computer software. Punctuality and attention to detail are a must as is the ability to work responsibly when staff is not present. Students must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, be familiar with the campus, and have the ability to move fully loaded book trucks. Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
