Tasks include performing library searches, collecting questionnaires, and participating in laboratory group meetings. The primary responsibility is to conduct ongoing experiments in the lab. This involves phone recruitment, memorization of an interview procedure, the administration of the procedure, and the management and computer entry of all collected data. Approximately 5-10 hours per week, this varies due to the availability of participants.
Psychology major having completed the PS 121/122 sequence is preferred, although not required. Must be reliable, mature, efficient and accurate. Good interpersonal relations. Experience with the Mac and Windows environments (including office, Eudora, and Stat View). Familiarity and/or comfort is more important than specific knowledge of each application.
