The duties of this position are two-fold. Work on various office-supported events and projects to engage the dorm community in sustainable living practices. A total of one Eco-Reps will be selected. The second function is to engage in an office supported the sustainability-focused project from September to May. The project will focus on a particular area of research or engagement program relevant to sustainability efforts at Colby. Specific project details and responsibilities will be provided by the Office of Sustainability.
Ability to work on average 3-4 hours per week and attend campus sustainability functions is required. Candidates will be selected based on their passion for sustainability, attention to detail, and project management experience. Candidates will be selected in April and serve through the following academic year (September May). Ideally, the Rep will be on campus throughout the year, although exceptions can be made for the right candidate.
