SP132: Conversation & Composition in Salamanca

This Jan Plan course takes place in Salamanca, whose Old Town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988. Students immerse themselves in day-to-day Spanish life by living with local families, taking part in activities inside the city, and exploring other historic sites in Spain. This course will develop critical communicative and argumentative writing skills in Spanish through conversations with peers and locals and by analyzing a variety of texts and events. Students who have completed the language requirement (SP127 or equivalent) but have not yet taken SP131 or 135 are eligible to apply.
