Henry Arnold Waxman


Henry Arnold Waxman was born in Los Angeles, California, and earned both his B.A. and his J.D. degrees from UCLA. He was admitted to the California bar and served in the California State Assembly for six years until 1974 when he was elected to the United States House of Representatives. As a Congressman, Waxman has been actively involved in the Subcommittee on Health and the Environment including helping to pass water quality legislation, control lead contamination, and strengthen clean air legislation.
