Project and Performance Courses in the Arts
Colby College has long recognized the importance of the integration of teaching
and scholarship on the part of faculty. Some courses in the Arts have fully integrated
project-based learning into their curriculum. This emphasis has enhanced significantly
the creative ability of
our students. Many Colby courses in the arts include signficant performance or
project-based
learning components. Some courses are designed around one extensive performance
or
project.
