The Campaign for Colby inspired an extraordinary outpouring of support from individual donors, family and private foundations, and corporations proposing to enhance a campus already considered by many to be the most beautiful in New England. For the past seven years the campus has teemed with bulldozers and backhoes, cranes and construction crews, providing our students and faculty with new and renovated science facilities, modern language laboratories, art galleries, residence halls, athletic facilities, and space for student organizations. Thanks to The Campaign for Colby and these many donors, we begin the new millennium with a campus superbly equipped to meet the educational and recreational needs of the 21st century.
