Dennis Barnett

Director, Actor, Composer

Worked as a professional actor and director for nearly 20 years on the West Coast. He was the founder and artistic director of Upstart Stage, a theater devoted to new play development, in Berkeley, California, directed the world première of Golf With Alan Shepard, and acted in the English-language première of Dusan Kovacevic's The Professional. Barnett also acted for most of the Equity theaters in the San Francisco Bay Area, including the American Conservatory Theater (ACT) and the Berkeley Repertory Theater. He has appeared on television's The Jeffersons and Archie Bunker's Place.
