Ruth Maleczech

Actress

Founding member and co-artistic director of Mabou Mines. She has won numerous awards, including the Distinguished Artists Fellowship, the Pew/TCG National Theatre Artist Residency Award, a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship, the Zeisler Award for contributions to the non-profit theatre, a Fox Foundation Fellowship, and the Spencer Cherashore Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as three OBIE Awards (one shared with Julie Archer) and a Festival des Ameriques Award for performance, and two Villager Awards for performance and direction.
