Stage II is a concept that creates additional opportunities for staging and performance in Runnals Union, while challenging students to explore creativity within fixed parameters. A good portion of Strider Theater's "downstage" space is made available along with basic lighting and sound facilities. Presenters have just four nights in Strider Theater to set up, rehearse, perform, and clean up. This provides students a unique opportunity to rethink the essentials of performance while also affording a taste of touring an event. Audiences can expect to see intimate productions that place an emphasis on vitality and minimalism, with unique and innovative thinking.

All Stage II events are open to the public and are free of charge. All seating is general admission; first-come, first-served. Patrons are encouraged to show up at least 30 minutes prior to curtain.

Students wishing to propose a Stage II event should carefully read the Information & Policies listed below before submitting an application. Available Stage II slots are established as part of the department's season schedule. Contact Debi Ward, the Administrative Secretary for specifics.
