Nina Pleasants has spent her life in the theater working as an actress with companies in Maine, Boston, London and New York.  In 1997, she was hired by Boston University’s School of Theatre to teach, voice and speech, dialects, heightened text and acting.  She worked as a dialect and voice coach, and directed several shows in the Boston area.  Currently, she enjoys the less hectic pace of Norridgewock, Maine and working with the Wesserunsett Arts Council in Skowhegan.  Spoken Word, Shakespeare and directing are her passions but providing venues, access and opportunities for all creative endeavors has become her rallying cry.
