In the program Boys To Men, Colby students will meet in a group setting with area middle school boys to help them navigate the societal, physical and peer pressures often experienced on the journey from boys to men. Each pair consists of a male and a female leader. They will coordinate weekly visits to the school, to facilitate discussions with the boys about topics such as male role models, boys in sports, and media. Leaders will have training, check-in meetings, and a curriculum to follow.
This program is not running for the 2016 -17 school year.
Volunteering will take place at a variety of schools in the local area.
