Bassett Teaching Award
Bassett Teaching Award
The Charles Bassett Teaching Award was established by the Class of 1993 to honor a distinguished member of the Colby faculty. It is presented annually, and a faculty member may receive the award only once. Chosen by a vote of the senior class, the recipient presents what is known as the Last Lecture following spring semester exams, and his or her name is added to a plaque in the foyer of the Lovejoy Building.
