The National Endowment for the Arts has awarded the Institute of Contemporary Art at the Maine College of Art $40,000 to support the exhibition

The exhibition will be open from October 5 – December 14, 2018 and will be accompanied by companion exhibitions, performances, lectures, films, community conversations, dinners, and more offered by over 50 collaborating partners throughout the state.
The Making Migration Visible Initiative is also support by funds from Colby College, and will include a companion exhibit at the Colby College Museum of Art called Seeing Otherwise, co-curated by Besteman and Colby students Chloé Powers and Caroline Webb.
