Associate Professor of Anthropology and African American Studies, Chandra Bhimull, co-curated the exhibition 1968: “Sensitive Humanity “and Black Radicalism, at the Colby Museum of Art (https://www.colby.edu/museum/exhibition/1968-sensitive-humanity-and-black-radicalism/). Through the photography of Ruth Marion-Baruch and Pirkle Jones, the exhibition focuses on the Black Panther movement and examines themes such as radical love and social transformation. It also features a reading nook, which invites people to sit and read seminal works from and about the resistance movements of 1968.
