Student Opportunities
Colby is a powerhouse of opportunity for students. In the anthropology department, students engage their skills both in and outside the classroom. Many juniors study abroad, bringing back incredible global experiences to our discussions. Other students conduct independent studies, from individualized courses to in-class projects to honors theses. Outside the classroom, students travel the nation and the world through internships and field schools. Our own Elfrieda Frank Scholarship helps students to explore archaeology in the Americas. All of these experiences better prepare students to being their career post-Colby.
