Art and the “Community, Culture, and Conversation” conference

On April 7-9, 2016, Colby is hosting a conference on “Community, Culture, and Conservation: Sustaining Landscapes and Livelihoods” that will include presentations and artwork by Art professors Gary Green and Tanya Sheehan as well as visual resources curator Maggie Libby. Green and Sheehan will participate in a panel on “Photography, Activism, and the Environment” with artist Susannah Sayler of the Canary Project. Libby will install an erasable drawing in the lobby of the Diamond building and will invite audience participation in the work.
