-Dear Colby Colleagues and Students,
It is with great pleasure that we announce the hiring of three new faculty members who will be joining the Economics Department in the fall.
- Erin Giffin is getting her Ph.D. in Economics from University of California San Diego with research focusing on Microeconomic Theory, Behavioral Economics/Economics and Psychology, and Experimental Economics.
- Jennifer Meredith is getting her Ph.D. from the University of Washington with research focusing on Natural Resource Economics and Development Economics, and a specialty in Marine Resource Economics.
- Yang Fan is getting his Ph.D. from the University of Washington with research focusing on Financial Economics, Corporate Finance, and Microeconometrics.
These talented individuals look forward to being part of the Colby community and working with our amazing students. We are delighted to welcome them to the Economics Department team.
