Our Mission
The Spanish Department prepares students with the skills to become critical thinkers and explore cultural productions within social, political, and historical contexts. Our curriculum fosters awareness of the power differentials that perpetuate social injustices and inform cultural and cross-cultural assumptions, both in and beyond the Spanish-speaking world.
