Activate WordPress Classic Editor Plugin

Colby’s web.colby.edu WordPress server was updated to version 5 on December 17, 2020. The BIG change is the Gutenberg editor. If you prefer the classic editor you will need to activate the Classic Editor plugin that restores the previous classic WordPress editor.

1. Log in to your WordPress website. 

2. Hover over your site title.

3. Choose Dashboard.

4. Click Plugins.

5. Locate the Classic Editor plugin.


6. Click Activate.
