The chairman of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission launched a “Keep Americans Connected Pledge” on March 13, 2020 and most major Internet service and cellular network providers have signed on. We have listed many of them below, with links to additional information.
- Comcast offers free WiFi for two months to low income households and open access to all Xfinity hotspots.
- Spectrum / Charter offers free Internet service for two months to students K-12 through college and open access to its wifi hotspots.
- Wireless / cellular carriers such as AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile had offered discounts and unlimited data earlier in the year. Contact your preferred provider for more up-to-date information.
