Hall Programming

East and West Quad Pumpkin Carving Program

Hall programming is an integral part of residential life at Colby. It provides a living environment that fosters maximum opportunity for growth which reflects responsibility, citizenship, concern for others, celebrates diversity, and strives to create a sense of community within one's residence hall. Programs are facilitated by the Community Advisors in each residence hall.

Every Community Advisor is expected to complete at least six programs throughout the course of the year.  Each program should include three of the six programming categories.  The program categories include: Intellectual Engagement, Engaging Differences, Community Outreach, Fostering Citizenship, Self-Reflection and Connection to Campus Programs. Community Advisors are encouraged to provide new, creative programs within their residence halls, and most exceed expectations.
