Beranek’s essay on Govert Flinck featured in new book

Visiting Assistant Professor of Art, Saskia Beranek, has a newly published essay, “Govert Flinck and the Houses of Orange and Brandenburg: Networks and Influence,” in Ferdinand Bol and Govert Flinck: New Research, ed. Stephanie Dickey (Zwolle: WBooks, 2017)

The book accompanies exhibitions currently on view at both the Rembrandthuis Museum and the Amsterdam Museum highlighting the work of Flinck and Bol, two of Rembrandt’s students who went on to have remarkable careers of their own.
